The West Offaly Power Station is a large peat-fired power station in Shannonbridge, in the Republic of Ireland. The station is capable of generating up to 150 MWe of power, thus ranking as the largest peat-fired power station in the country.[1][2] The power station was constructed as a replacement to the ageing 125 MWe Shannonbridge Power Station.
